Cacheu
Cacheu is the place where the portuguese won battles from the
armies undedr command of Sir Francis Drake and Sir John Hawkins in
1567. The town is very small and there is not much accommodation
available. There are only a few restaurants in town. There is a
ferry that connects Cacheu with places on the other side of the
river and Senegal. Cacheu is 76 km northwest of Bissau.
